Katie Bollbach
Katie re-joined Partners In Health in May 2020 as Director of the US Public Health Accompaniment Unit. She has previously worked with PIH in Sierra Leone as Chief Policy and Program Officer during the Ebola response and recovery, and in Rwanda as a Microfinance Program Assistant in 2007-08. Katie co-founded and helped lead two organizations dedicated to engaging young people in the fight for global health equity and HIV treatment access—serving as VP of Programs at Global Health Corps and Program Director/Board Member of FACE AIDS. She’s also worked alongside civil society leaders in South Africa on building a national coalition and advocacy campaign around gender-based violence policy reform and with refugee communities on community-led development programs in Zambia. Most recently Katie was a consultant at The Bridgespan Group, serving as a strategy adviser for NGOs and philanthropies.
Katie earned a BA from Stanford University in International Relations and African Studies and an MPH from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She is currently pursuing an MPP at the Harvard Kennedy School, where she is a Gleitsman Leadership Fellow at the Center for Public Leadership.
