Diana Nambatya Nsubuga, PhD
Diana is a public health specialist with nearly 15 years of experience in RMNCH and health system strengthening in Sub-Saharan Africa. Diana serves as Co-CEO of TIP Global Health based in Rwanda.
Prior to joining TIP, Diana served as Africa Regional Deputy Director in charge of Policy and Advocacy for Living Goods. She affected much positive change for the communities she serves—advancing policy change initiatives; expertly navigating relationships with country, global, and regional stakeholders; and frequently serving as a passionate and knowledgeable representative in important, high-level forums. She also developed a new regional advocacy program for the organization. Diana positioned Living Goods as a trusted advisor to the community health team at Africa CDC advising on the PACT program that has supported the training and deployment of over 20,000 CHWs in the region to respond to COVID-19, and working with country governments to access COVID-19 vaccines. Diana was a support to the country teams, providing thought partnership to the Uganda team on the Oyam work and the development of the Technical Advisory Committee, and supporting the Kenya and Uganda teams on ensuring that community health was included in the governments’ applications to the Global Fund for the COVID-19 response.
Diana has done this work with a relentless dedication to the communities we serve, great graciousness and care for people, and the bravery to speak truth to power.
