Soline Uwingabiye
As our Clinical Care Quality Specialist, Soline translates her extensive experience with Quality Improvement in Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT) of HIV to all primary care services at rural health centers. She guides health centers through our Five Pillars of Quality Care approach that links improvement in the quality of care to improving health outcomes.
Soline has over 10 years of nursing experience as the supervising nurse for PMTCT at Muhondo Health Center. In this role, she rapidly became a leader in high quality, mother-centered care when TIP’s QI program was implemented. In her supervisory role, she provided training in HIV testing, counselling and disclosure and played an integral role in integrating both nutrition and mental health services into HIV care. She recently completed her undergraduate degree in Nursing at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at University of Rwanda.
